Lebanese Strong Transparent
Democracy Organization (LSTDO) < I work to delay death and to improve life quality of any human being among all world peoples >. Reflexions on the political and economic Lebanese news. |
12 January 2009.
The war in Gaza is just one episode
in the crises caused by religious extremists racism.
I - Facts:
1
Since 27 December 2008, the Israeli army is conducting a bloody military attack
in Gaza against the extremist religious doctrine Palestinian Movement, HAMAS.
2
The nature of this urban warfare can only cause too many innocent victims among
the civilian population since it is trapped between the warriors.
3
As usual each party denies responsibility for war and damages and accuses the
other party. As usual too, Every media seem to be under the racist legacy of
religions directing propaganda in a single way in favour of one of the two
belligerents.
4
The Israeli government motivated its action that the Palestinian extremists send
rockets at Israeli towns and villages. These are acts of terrorism. Hamas is
regarded by Israel as a terrorist group that must be eliminated from the
Palestinian political map. Hamas does not moderate its objective. Its declared
aim is the destruction of Israel. Most Western countries and several Arab
countries consider Hamas as obstacle against peace because of its extremist
policy.
5
Hamas believes that it defends itself and defends Palestinian people rights by
its acts since it has no other means to battle Israel State. This movement
rejects any compliance with the security conditions claimed by Israel. It
advocates a permanent war until Israel destruction. The seriousness of the
situation in Gaza is that the Palestinian official authority is kidnapped by
Hamas. The official Palestinian Authority of the President Mahmoud ABBAS has
been excluded from Gaza Strip. The civilian population of Gaza is trapped as
hostage by the politics of Hamas and is currently undergoing the worst
atrocities of the war.
6
Jewish extremists in Israel could continue to want to dominate all of Palestine
(Israel) and hope to push out all Arabic Palestinian. They do not want to admit
that half of Israel (Palestine) must be left to Arab Palestinian people. On the
scale of the Middle East it is clear that the Jewish people are a minority.
Israel Jews have their culture, religion and language. The psychological
separation with the Arabs is complete. It is impossible to live in harmony
between Jews and Arabs in one country especially after the deadly successive
wars of the 20th century between them.
7
Palestinian extremists are indoctrinated to be proud of the Arab race and their
Islamic religion. They consider that the State of Israel must be destroyed. They
want all of Palestine (Israel) for them. Jerusalem is a holy city to Christians,
Jews and Muslims. Palestinian extremists want the city as the Palestine capital.
They do not take into account the claims of other religions.
8
Palestinian Christians have long been dominated by the Arabs over the centuries.
They became Arabic tongue. Their rights are not respected by the Israeli
government which look them as Arab Palestinians.
9
Jewish and Muslim extremist Religious ideologies in the land of Palestine
(Israel) are opposed. They are irreconcilable.
10
The Security Council of the United Nations passed a resolution on 9 January 2009
calling for the cease-fire in Gaza. This reminds us of the dozens of cease-fire
requests which have not been respected in the fifteen years of Lebanon civil
war. The Security Council is often unfair because of the decision-making
mechanism. And when it is right, it does not act quickly enough to impose an
international force implementing its decision. Thus, the warriors continue to
kill each other leaving serious and unnecessary damages and innocent victims.
II – LSTDO Position:
1
This is our fundamental principle: "I work to delay death and improve life
quality of every human being among all people>.
2
Based on our fundamental principle of our organization, you can guess its
application to Gaza War.
3
Every human being must be protected whether he is Palestinian or Jewish or from
any other people.
4
How to prevent war when the belligerents are not reconcilable and try to impose
their wishes by war or terrorism ?
5
We want you to understand that all politicians of all countries are partly
responsible through negligence of many situations comparable to Gaza War. Of
course, local extremists are the main responsible for the massacres of the war.
The extremist racial or religious indoctrination is anti democratic and is
threatening to human rights. But we are in the 21st century and the human
sciences have evolved. Why we are unable to reform an international organization
and to be democrat and effective in preventing wars between peoples.
6
When there are two parties in conflict, we need police to protect people and
property. You also need a court to make a quick and right decision. And, above
all, we need an army or police to enforce the court's ruling. Otherwise there is
no justice and no peace.
7
The Israeli Palestinian conflict is more dramatic since 1948. The superpowers
have never wanted to impose a solution. The dialogue between the local warriors
has never succeeded.
8
Why Israeli politicians can not move towards moderation to find a peace
agreement with the Palestinians ?
9
Why successions of Palestinian authorities could not deliver a fair and moderate
authority to find a peace settlement with the State of Israel ?
10
Why The United Nations and its Security Council do not take decisions that are
fair and prompt to save people from deaths and misery ? There is room in
Palestine (Israel) to install the two peoples in two independent bordering
states without war.
11
Why the Security Council is unable to implement its decisions quickly to impose
a fair and just solution for peace between the warriors using multinational
forces ?
12
In total, many conflicts in the world, such as the conflict in Lebanon, the
current war in Gaza, the ongoing tragedy in Darfur, the conflict in Iraq, etc.
must spur us to demand that politicians in all countries:
- Struggling to create a reform of the United Nations to make it fairer and more
effective;
- To claim a global (world) army commanded by the United Nations can be formed.
It must be able to move quickly around the world to implement the decisions in
favor of peace and respect for the rights of all peoples;
- And to promote the Right of Interference which should give the UN the
right to intervene in every country in the world without exception to protect
the rights of minorities, uphold human rights and maintain peace.
13
The war in Gaza is just one episode in the successive crises caused by
religious extremists racism. When in a territory we see extremists who
dominate and kill each other, it is necessary to impose peace by force of an
external official power recognized by all countries in the world. In order not
to perpetuate the conflict, the peacekeeping army must have the means to enforce
United Nations decisions in a sustainable manner. Thus we see a need for a
permanent international court to replace the Security Council. The nuclear
superpowers and countries that have the veto in the Security Council can not
currently create a trust in United Nations decisions.
14
The degree of excessive religious indoctrination in the Middle East leaves us no
hope of resolving the Arab Israeli problem until the United Nations take a
just decision and send a strong army to impose peace on both Jewish
and Palestinian peoples.
